We serve Seniors and Disabled. We address emergency health and safety issues including repairs for appliances, plumbing, roof, furnace and more. Households must have an income below 80% Area Median Income (AMI) Participants in the program must reside in Pierce County (outside the city limits of Tacoma and Lakewood) Participants must own their home. Units must be owner occupied.

The weatherization team examines single and multi-unit dwellings and mobile homes for existing heat loss. conditions

Pierce County Immunization Sites and Information

Serves uninsured/underinsured adults, children. Lists free children immunization sites, adult immunization sites, requirements for schools, vaccination schedules, how to get records, and info about vaccines.

The Pierce County Libraries in Sumner, Bonney Lake, and Buckley provide story times for children and other programs for teens and adults. See the calendar on the website to locate programs for each location.

Pierce County Library Job Search & Online Job Coaching

Through the Pierce County Library, you can receive job search services, resume writing, 1-on-1 computer assistance, and live online interview coaching. Free online job coaching is available from your library or home computer. The Sumner location has a Job & Business Center open to everyone. LinkedIn Learning offers a selection of career development courses. Offers online 24/7 for free in partnership with Microsoft and the Washington State Library. Develop computer skills, become proficient in Microsoft software, learn about web development and more.
