We serve low-income adults 19-65 with youth cards at no charge for Lift Card holders. Eligibility is based on household income. We can save you 50% or more on Sounder Train, Sound Transit Buses, Link Light Rail, Metro Transit and more.

We can help you connect to: • Basic Food (SNAP). • Apple Health. • Answers Counseling services—Maternity support, infant case management, housing help and individual and group counseling. • Free diapers and wipes—Get 30 diapers and 1 package of wipes per month per child under 5. • Positive Parenting Program—Learn the best ways to positively manage the behavior you don’t like and encourage more of the behaviors you do. • WorkSource Career Advisors—On-site monthly the first Wednesday. • Local resources. • COVID-19 resources. Fire Department Orting

Our mission is to assist those in need by providing food and referral services. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We supply Weekend Meal backpacks to students in need in the Orting School District and stock Care Closets at each OSD school with personal care items and food for any student to use. During the summer school break we operate a Summer Meal site for children ages 1-18. This program aims to fill the hunger gap that some children experience by not having access to school meals during the summer. We serve lunch at Orting City Park and collaborate with Pierce County Libraries and the City of Orting, among other organizations, to offer fun and enrichment to the children along with their lunches.

A healing community for those impacted by life challenges. Recovery Cafe Orting Valley is a membership-based organization. We do allow individuals to be a guest for the day but hope that they will join as a Member. Membership is always free. ​ To learn more about our services, please call and set up an appointment with one of our welcoming team members. ​ The Café is a place of healing and support for all individuals. We welcome all who are impacted by life challenges, such as homelessness, substance use, violence, and mental health concerns. Everyone is in recovery from something, and everyone is welcome. ​ Recovery Cafe Orting Valley offers opportunities for healing and support for all individuals. We have something for everyone, including the loved ones of individuals.
