Community Big Give (Thanksgiving Food Baskets)

COMMUNITY BIG GIVE is an annual event, held the Saturday before Thanksgiving. On this day we distribute groceries to targeted families in need within the Sumner-Bonney Lake, Dieringer & White River School District Communities who have signed up for a meal. We serve over 1,500 meals each year.

We provide a wide array of social services and government assistance to victims nof domestic violence.

DSHS Aged, Blind, or Disabled (ABD) Program

Provides cash assistance to eligible low-income adults age 65 or older, blind, or determined likely to meet Supplemental Security Income (SSI) disability criteria based on a physical or mental impairment that is expected to last at least 12 consecutive months.

DSHS Emergency Services

Provide food & cash assistance, medical services. Those who meet eligibility requirements for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), State Family Assistance (SFA), or Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA), have an emergency housing, utility or other need; and have a good reason that you had insufficient funds to pay your housing or utility costs.
