A Common Voice

A Common Voice serves parents raising children with significant mental health needs. We provide family-driven and youth-guided care plans to increase daily coping strategies, navigate child serving systems including school, juvenile court and mental health. We also offer Parent Support Groups, Workshops, and Individual Support. We are able to attend IEP's with a parent, if asked.

ANEW Online Training Programs

ANEW Online Training Programs serves women. We provide a Pre-apprenticeship Trades Rotation Program which offers an 11 week, part-time, pre-apprenticeship training in Renton and Tacoma, that helps women enter non-traditional careers in construction trades and manufacturing.

Absolute Ministries

We provide faith-based positive housing. Individuals will make a commitment to lead a substance free life, in an atmosphere that focuses on Jesus, while developing accountability,integrity, character, transparency, and responsibility. Making recovery sustainable for individuals that have completed a drug or alcohol inpatient program.

Adult Basic Education at Pierce College

Pierce College serves students who need some refresher courses before enrolling in college classes, taking the official GED test, or who simply want to improve their basic skills. Courses include social studies, writing, mathematics, reading, history and science. Classes meet for 5-12 hours per week and are available mornings, afternoons or evenings. Classes are offered at the Fort Steilacoom and Puyallup campuses.

Adult Learners, King County Library System

The King County Library System provides adult educational opportunities such as English Learning, Citizenship, Tutoring, Practice exams, etc. See Website for opportunities.

Adult Protective Services

Adult Protective Services (APS) is dedicated to serving vulnerable adults. We investigate reports about abuse, abandonment, neglect, exploitation and self-neglect of vulnerable adults in Washington State. We collaborate with other agencies to offer protective services as needed. Our goal is to promote lives free of harm while respecting individual choice.
